Japan Trips

  • Is a trip to Japan expensive?

Not especially, but it can be if you go through a high street travel agent. One of the other major drawbacks is travel agents tend to pack people onto coach trips for long hours of journeys around the country, only to spend a very short time at a location before hopping back onto the coach.

We don't use coach tours, we do use trains, buses, underground, even cable cars and ferries, but as we teach you how to navigate the public transport system, you'll save loads of time and money getting around the same way as local residents.

Each trip takes months to arrange as they are custom designed. There's no one-price-fits all, but, we have found that arranging everything ourselveas, saves us on average £1,000 each when compared to high street travel agents.

What are our fees? .....£0. We charge absolutely nothing for arranging these trips as we enjoy sharing Japan with others so much, that it is a labour of love and something we do not charge for, leaving you with more spending money for your trip.

  • How long have we been organising trips?

We have been organising trips to Japan since 1999 for our own members and others, which have been well received by all who have taken part.

Whether it's your first time, or for experienced travellers, we organise unique excursions, the likes of which, you cannot get from online or high street travel agents.

  • Bespoke itinerary

We arrange initial meetings with everyone who shows interest, as every trip takes into account things that each individual would like to experience.

Once we have a draft intinerary, we arrange another meeting to discuss and take on board other preferences.

As well as some of the usual sights, we also visit some of the delights off the beaten track which make these trips so memorable.

  • Past trips

Previos trips have taken in the sights of Tokyo, Kyoto, Hiroshima, Miyajima and many others.

We've also arranged stays at priest lodgings on Mt Mitake as well as climbing Mt Fuji and training at The Kodokan Institute - HQ of Judo.

We usually arrange accommodation in Ryokan (traditional inns) and have even arranged private rent of Machiya (traditional merchant houses) for a true taste of the Japanese experience.
